Do you ever notice that you hold your breath when youre concentrating on something or feeling stressed? Its very common! Our muscles tense when stressed and our breathing becomes constricted or even stops.

Next time you notice that you are holding your breath or your chest feels tight, pause and take some slow, easy breaths. Notice how different you feel. Youll feel more relaxed and refreshed. Even a few minutes of natural breathing can relax you and take away the feeling of fatigue.

Its obvious that better breathing benefits the body and mind. Relaxed, easy breathing reduces stress and brings more oxygen to your body. The Remember to Breathe app is designed to help you develop the habit of breathing in a natural, relaxed way throughout the day.

CHANGE YOUR BREATHING HABITS WITH 3 SIMPLE TOOLS

1 - BREATHING REMINDERS -- All it takes is a simple reminder to help you start breathing again. You can program the app to remind you to breathe throughout the day. Choose from voice prompts, sounds or use the silent mode and receive visual reminders only. Choose how often you wish to be reminded.

2 - FOUR BREATHING BREAK AUDIOS -- These audios are designed to help you take brief breathing breaks during the day. There are four to choose from, each with a slightly different focus -- Basic Breath Awareness, Deep Breathing, Pleasure Breathing, and Belly Breathing. Once the Breathing audio gets you started, you can continue your breathing break for as long as youd like.

3 - BREATHING EXERCISE -- This simple voice-guided exercise will help you learn to breath in a regular, easy way. Instead of a complicated exercise in which you have to count, pause, or breathe in a very particular way, this exercise uses an intuitive approach. It guides you to tune into your body and discover your own, natural way of breathing. The exercise is pleasurable to do and youll look forward to doing it rather than feeling its a chore. You can practice this as often as you wish to help your body get into the habit of breathing regularly and effectively.
